CAR TURNS FOUR SOMERSAULTS. MECHANIC DEAD: DRIVER UNHURT British Wireless. Rugby, Aug. 30. A remarkable motoring accident occurred during a practice for Saturday’s Ulster Tourist Trophy race on the Ards circuit near Belfast. A small car driven by Lieutenant Balmain skidded when travelling at 70 miles an hour. It turned four somersaults, landing on its wheels. Belmain was pinned in the driving seat and unhurt, but the mechanic, Dunkley, was thrown out and killed.
