AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE.
£1,500,000 AVAILABLE IN BRITAIN.

Auckland, Aug. 17.
The Auckland Harbour Bridge Company announces that Mr, A. Harris, M.P., is leaving to-morrow for Sydney and Melbourne. Some weeks ago the company announced that £1,500,000 was available in London to build the bridge on certain conditions. It says that the new negotiations have gone so far that it is deemed advisable to send a representative to Australia, as it is probable that certain supplies will be required from the Commonwealth.
