THE TWO WANGANUI TEAMS. CHANGE IN TARANAKI FORWARDS The Wanganui'Rugby team to play Taranaki at New Plymouth to-morrow has been selected as follows: — Full-back: Thompson. Three-quarters: Bullock-Douglas, Hansen, Brown. Five-eighths: Lowe, Morgan. Half: Brogden. Back row; Lockett (captain), Matthews, Fowler. . Middle row: Mclntyre, Walker. Front row: Killcolly, W. Thompson, Waters. Reserves: Walker (back), Hansen (forward).
The team will arrive at New Plymouth to-night under the managership of Mr* Gatrell, Marton. There is one change in the Taranaki team, R. Clarke (Okaiawa) being unavailable. His place in the forwards will' be filled by D. Murphy (Kaponga) and E. Murphy (Hawera) will go on to the side of the scrum. Davison (Tukapa) becomes an emergency forward in place of E. Murphy. The Wanganui Maoris to play the Taranaki Maoris at Wanganui to-morrow have been chosen "as foliows:— Full-back: Hekenui. Three-quarters: Downs, Potaka, Chase. Five-eighths: Hartley first, McKay second. Half: Ruakawa. Back of ’ scrum: Smith. Middle row: J. Taiuru, McCarthy, Hopa, Pairama. Front row: Murphy, M. Taiuru, Scan- •/ lan. • Reserves: Lambert (back), Huaparoa (forward).
