LONDON WOMEN DETECTIVES
INNOVATION AT SCOTLAND YARD. MORE TO BE ADDED WHEN TRAINED By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright. Rec. 7.25 p.m. London, Aug. 16. An innovation has been established at Scotland Yard by the appointment of three women to the detective staff. They have been attached recently to a police station in West End and are working in plain clothes. It is anticipated more women will be added to the famous criminal investigation department when trained.
