ANNOUNCEMENT OF PLATFORM.
PROGRAMME OF REFORMS.

The formation of a New Zealand political federation, an organisation pledged to a broad programme of political action for Parliamentary and economic reform, was announced at Hamilton today by prominent members of the executive of the federation, which has been in existence for several months and has drawn up a programme comprising reform in the system of Government, review of taxation, expenditure and administration. A practical method of dealing with unemployment, reform of finance and currency and consideration of the outlook for young people. The details were released by Messrs. Alfred Oldham, Auckland, vice-chair-man, J. Caughey, secretary, D. Donaldson and J. H. Potter (all Auckland). The chairman is Mr. J. B. Donald.
