MARRIED WOMAN INJURED
■' DAUGHTER HELD IN CUSTODY.
ALLEGED ATTACK WITH CLEAVER.

Levin, Last Night.
A married woman was removed to the Palmerston North Hospital to-day suffering from severe wounds on the head and 'body said to have been caused by blows from a meat cleaver. The police later took a daughter of tile injured woman into custody.. She was brought before the court this afternoon charged with assaulting hei mother and causing actual bodily harm. She was remanded to appear on August 24. Her name was ordered to be suppressed. The mother’s condition is satisfactory and her recovery is anticipated.
