FOUR VISITING TEAMS.

DOMINION RED CROSS ACTIVITY. Again the Collins'Cup competition for home-nursing is to be held at New Ply- : mouth under the auspices of the Red Cross Society. The cup was presented in 1926 by the Hon. In the first year the. cup was competed for by Wellington teams only. Then in 1928 a New Plymouth team travelled to Wellington and brought the cup back with it. There was no competition in 1929, but in 1930 it was held at New Plymouth, five teams competing, and the New Plymouth A and Wellington No. 1 teams tied. In the following year Wellington again won the cup, the newly-formed Hawera team being second. Last year New Plymouth was successful in regaining possession of the trophy. This year the competition is to be held at New Plymouth on September 2, and five teams have notified their intention of participating. Two teams from Wellington and two from Hawera comprise the visitors, who are to be billeted during the week-end.
