VICTORIA LEAGUE
ANNUAL DAFFODIL DAY. The annual Daffodil Day of the New Plymouth branch of the Victoria League will be held in the League rooms on Friday next. Lovers of spring flowers will find masses of daffodils and violets. There will be stalls laden with good things to eat, cakes, vegetables, turkeys, hams, and a dainty work stall with suitable gifts for Christmas. There will also be a sweet and jumble stall full of quaint and useful • articles. In the afternoon a charge of 6d, to include afternoon tea, will be made.
