Injured Cyclist Improves. There is an improvement in the condition of the young Patea man, Mr. J; Gunn, who was injured in a motorcycle accident about three weeks ago between Waverley and Patea. He has not yet, fully regained consciousness.

Flower Day at Wellington. Large quantities of beautiful spring flowers were despatched by the Hawera branch of the Women’s National Reserve yesterday. They are to be sold at Wellington to-morrow at a flower day in aid of the residential nursery at Wellington. Junior Red Cross Donation.

A donation of 6s from the Hawera branch of the junior Red Cross Society has been made to the citizens’ relief committee.
