PRIZES IN ART UNION
NEW ZEALANDER SUCCESSFUL.
ANOTHER STATE LOTTERY PRIZE.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 8.45 p.m. Sydney, Aug. 15. The Golden Chest art union for city charities was drawn to-day. The first prize, diamonds worth £3009 was won by George Peebles, Taneatua, Bay of Plenty. It also announced that a New Zealand syndicate, the names of which are not disclosed, drew the second prize of £lOOO in the 146th State lottery.
