GOLFING AT OPUNAKE
LADIES DEFEAT THE JfEN. A foursome golf match between ladies and men was played on the Opunake golf links op Wednesday. The men conceded a handicap. The match was won by the ladies. Results are; Mrs. Morris and Miss Lewis all square, with Turner and Fraser; Miss Trotter and Mrs. Hammond 4 up and 2 against Father Kennedy and Brown; Mrs. Brennan and Mrs.
Stephenson 7 up and 5 against■ FienWj and Hammond; Mrs. Turner and Miss SnchJw and 1 Stephenson; Misses and B. F , ?i; I Mrt7ctSte t and , 'Mis. Harrigan 2 up against Morris and ston and Miss Sinclair lost to Watt , and P The Te Ngutu lady golf players will play Opunake club ladies during the week-end.
