PROTEST BY MANUFACTURERS. DUNEDIN SUPPORTS FEDERATION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, July 18. A large meeting of Dunedin manufacturers yesterday protested against statements by Mr. W. J. Polson, president of the Farmers’ Union,, and suggestions that a tariff reduction should be made before the commission’s report was issued.
