RUGBY FOOTBALL.
(To the 1 Editor.)
Sir,— ln appreciation of the great game: of football at Patea last Saturday between Waimate and Patea under atrocious conditions, I, like hundreds of ether spectators; would like to see these two teams of sports play at Hawera, and the proceeds divided, the Rugby Union to get 12 per cent, the unemployed, 50 per Cent, and the balance to be divided between the Waimate and Patea clubs. Rugby officials, it’s up to you. These men gave of their best, and secured a great gate for you.—l am, etc., Mokoia.
