SUCCESSFUL DANCE. A “hard-up” dance was held to the Tatu Hall on Friday night number of people attended. The prize for the most “hard-up” pair was won by Mr. A. Brown and Mrs. L Jackson. Music was provided by Mr. Coplestona. Mr. McLeod provided the supper. Post offices and stores combined are common to most country towns, but the combination of a dressmaking shop and post office, now operating. in Tatu, is a new departure. Alterations to the Tatu HaU • are under way. In future the hall will have a much-needed stage for use by eoncert parties.
