Mrs. E. J. Reid is visiting Wellington. Mrs. Harper Lepper, Lepperton, will leave this morning for Palmerston North, where she will be the guest of her sister, Mrs. Fairbrother. Miss A. Marshall will leave to-day for Hastings, where she will stay with Mrs. Bracken Wilson. Mrs. 'Bethell, Auckland, is on * visit to Mrs. W. H. Woodward. Mrs. A. V. Pizzey was a Palmerston North visitor to New Plymouth this week.

Mrs. F. Partridge has been the guest of Mrs. J. Parfitt this week, and returned to Inglewood yesterday.

An enjoyable reunion of former pupils of the Nelson Girls’ College was held on Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. F. S. Johns. About 30, including a numbers who motored from Hawera, Stratford and Inglewood, attended the gatherwhich was arranged 'by the Taranaki branch * of the Old Girls’ Association. A competition was won by Miss Jean Jones, a visitor from Nelson. After afternoon tea great interest was evinced in the accounts of the college jubilee given by Mesdames Hamilton and Kaye, Misses Papps and McEachen, who attended the celebrations at Nelson last Easter.
