DEMPSTER’S FUTURE
REMAINING IN ENGLAND.
London, July 7.
It is now known that C. S. Dempster (New Zealand) is qualifying to play with Lancashire. He has been selected to play against the West Indies team at Old Trafford, on July 12, and is expected to be in all Lancashire matches when he has completed his qualifying period. It is recognised that his loss will be serious to New Zealand, as it is the opinion of competent judges that he is one of the best batsmen the Dominion has produced.
