CENTRAL SCHOOL JUBILEE

PRELIMINARY ARRANGEMENTS. The special jubilee sub-committee of the Central School Committee has been working steadily’ during the last two months, and already arrangements arc beginning to take shape. A list of all those who have attended the school since its opening in 1884 has been prepared, and these have been divided into five decades. It is proposed to circularise all on the list and call a big meeting to commence the preparations in earnest. Messrs. Coleman and Feakins have been deputed to make arrangements for the place and time of this meeting which will probably take place early in August. Inquiries have been made from other schools which have held similar celebrations and the tentative programme for the jubilee week will be submitted and explained.
