AN EXCELLENT CONCERT.

SUNDAY SCHOOL PUPILS’ WORK.

St. David’s Presbyterian hall, Manaia, was well filled on Friday night, when the Sunday school children gave a concert The juvenile orchestra, trained by Mr. A. Bonetti, played very well. The Rev. R. Miller thanked Mr. Bonetti for his assistance. Mr. Bonetti contributed violin solos with finished accompaniment of Mr. Restieux. Miss Armitage played the accompaniments for the children. At the, close of the programme Mr. E. Stoddart, one of the teachers, thanked the parents for their presence and appealed for their interest in the school’s work. He commended the women teachers for their interest and good work in training the children for the concert. Mr. Miller congratulated the children on their performance and spoke briefly of the work of the Sunday school. The children and parents were then entertained at supper.
