DRUIDS’ HALF-YEARLY MEETING. ■ STRATFORD OFFICERS INSTALLED. The half-yearly meeting of the Stratford Druids’ Lodge was held on Tuesday night,' when P.P. Bro. Jeff ares installed the following officers: A.D., Sister Cummins; V.A., Bro. Alger; 1.G., Sister Crosky; 0.G., Bro. Main;. A.D.8., Sister U. Hynman and Bro. Adams; V.A.8., Bros. Evans and Hynman. After the installation Sister Cummins presided oyer a large attendance including visitors from Hawera, Eltham, Inglewood, Waitara and Wanganui. The following toasts were honoured: “The King and the Druids,”- Sister Cummins; “Grand Lodge,” P.D.P. Bro. Grant-P.P. Bro. Jeffares;' “Newly Installed Officers,” Bro. White—Sister Cummins; “Visitors,” Bro. Hynman—A.O. Visiting ’ Lodges; “Kindred Societies,” Bro. E. ReedMembers kindred societies; “Entertainers,” Bro. Main-Bro.'Rogers. ~ Selections were rendered by Rogers orchestra. Sister Williams (Eltham), Bros. Christie and Rogers contributed items. Community singing, led by Bro. Vincent with Bro. Brennan at the piano, was heartily enjoyed. Music for the dance was played by Rogers’ Orchestra and Bros. Feek and Brennan.
