AUSTRALIAN MARKET GLUTTED.
GROWERS SEEKING REMOVAL.

"To relieve the serious plight of citrus fruitgrowers, all possible avenues for the removal of the New Zealand embargo on Australian citrus fruits will be pursued,” stated Senator Massy Greene in the Senate, in reply to Senator Hughes, who said that citrus fruit in Melbourne had dropped 3s a case in the last week because the market was glutted through the closing of the New Zealand outlet. Senator Greene said that an . announcement of the results of his trip to New Zealand would be made known as soon as possible.
