WIDOW’S COMPENSATION CLAIM. HUSBAND ONE OF TEN DROWNEDBy Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, May 26. An echo of the Doris launch disaster of December last, when ten watersiders lost their lives, was heard in the Supreme Court this morning, when a settlement was reached between Janet Low, widow of Norman Wallis Low, and her children in an originating summons against John T. Fenwick, owner of the launch. The agreement reached provides for the payment of £l2OO. The widow receives £4OO and the remainder is held in trust for the children. Other cases , will be heard to-morrow.
