YOUNG BOY CHASES BURGLAR
FUGITIVE STRIKES HEAVY BLOW. ESCAPE IN DARKNESS AT TE AROHA By Telegraph—Press Association. Te Aroha, May 26. Noticing a strange man endeavouring to gain access to a neighbour’s house at a late hour last night, a 12-year-old boy, Geqrge Edmonds, left his bed and gave chase. In decamping, the marauder struck the boy a heavy blow over the head with an instrument, but the lad continued the chase for some distance before he lost sight of the man in the darkness.
