AUCKLAND MILK SUPPLY

INVESTIGATION OF POSITION. PROPOSAL FOR COUNCIL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, May 26. It was decided to appoint a committee to investigate the conditions of the milk trade in Auckland and frame machinery for the institution of a milk council, which would govern the milk and cream trades in the metropolitan area and report back to a further conference. In opening the conference the Mayor said the position was so acute that failure to reach agreement would be disastrous to the milk industry.
