INTERFERENCE WITH RADIO
METHODS OF DETECTION. POLICY OF THE DEPARTMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, May 26. Replying to a request that district radio inspectors be provided with suitable means of motor transport and more sensitive radio interference detectors, the secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department writes that arrangements are in train to furnish radio inspectors at Christchurch with a suitable motor vehicle for use in connection with tracing radio interference. Moreover, it is intended to provide as soon as possible improved types of receivers for detection purposes in Christchurch and other centres. It is hoped that these measures will be of material assistance in locating the sources of disturbance of radio reception.
