Mfac; Sinclair arrived from Hamilton on Thursday to commence duties as district nurse at Mokau. Mrs. G. Richards has returned from Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Jones were visitors to New Plymouth during the week-end. Miss E. Henderson, Waitipipi, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. G. Richards, ■•Taumatamaire.” Miss Harris will leave for Huntly on Friday. Mrs. Bell has returned to Moeata. Mrs. T. Radford, Helensville, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. S. Whitehead, Mokau. The Misses Joan and Mary Fredric have returned to New Plymouth. ENGAGEMENT. WALLINGFORD—VAUTIER. Nancy Russell, only daughter of Mrs. Vautier, Wellington, and the late Mr. T. P. Vautier, of Napier, to Roland Wallingford, of Travancore, India, younger son of-Major J. A. Wallingford and Mrs. Wallingford, Auckland.
