TWO KOLORA HEIFERS.
' MR.. E. BENNETTS SELECTION. A daughter and grand-daughter of that fine cow Happy Life, which produced 6641 b of fat as a senior two-year-old, will be offered by Mr. E. Bennett, of the Kolora Jersey Stud, Cardiff. In lot 36 buyers cannot but be attracted by the graceful lines Of the in-calf heifer, Kolbra Lady Life, from Happy Life by Wattle Bank Golden Noble, a son of Ivondale. Highlander, champion butter-fat bull, six of whose daughters have tested up to 7051 b fat.
Kolora Gay Lass, the other heifer to be offered by Mr. Bennett, is a daughter of Kolora Gay Life (C.O.R. 749.351 b fat at four-years) by the same sire as the former. Behind this heifer are strains of the best Jersey blood in the Dominion, going back to the famous Genoa Daisy. Kolora Gay Life was sired by the great Penrose Noble, who produced Kolora Tulip 7021 b fat, Kolora Rosebud 6491 b fat, Kolora Fairy 6041 b fat, Gay Life 749 lb fat, and Kolora Fairy Queen, who io date has done 5751 b with 160 days to go. This is a heifer any breeder can bid for »with confidence.
