LONDON CONFERENCE PROPOSED. TARIFF TRUCE APPROVED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Tokid, May 1. Japan is favourably considering the proposal of Mr. Walter Runciman, President of the Board of Trade, to Mr. Matsudaira, Japanese Ambassador, for an Anglo-Japanese industrial conference at London to discuss Empire-wide trade relations. Japan also generally approves of the American proposals for a worldjwide tariff truce.
