PACKED TO THE DOORS
PUBLIC’S KEEN APPRECIATION: Packed to the doors from the time they opened until closing time last night was the experience of the B.K. Ltd., when they■ commenced their big’ liquidation sale yesterday. The public were not slow in appreciating the keen prices which in many cases were Well below today’s cost. Books, stationery, handbags, pens, xylonite ware and the hundred and one other lines which were attractively displayed in Woolworth counters were quickly sold, replaced and sold again. Genuine, bargains in fiction were selling as low as 9d per novel and. many took the opportunity of purchasing, a good supply of winter reading. - The sale, which is the largest of its kind known in Taranaki for a long time, will be continued next week, when many new lines will be included from the Hawera branch, where a stock of over £5OO worth of goods is at present held.* _■ c
