RECORD WOOL PRODUCTION
THE SEASON IN AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 10.30 p.m. Sydney, March 10. The latest return relating to wool production in Australia shows that the clip for the season 1932 was a record of approximately 997,000,0001 b. weight, compared with 912,000,0001 b. in 1931. The number of sheep at the end of 1931 was 110,618,893, being 50,000 more than in the preceding year, also a record. Cattle and sheep showed increases of 539,000 .and 96,000 respectively.
