CONDITION SLIGHTLY IMPROVED. boy has fractured skull. A slight improvement in the condition of the four victims of the collision between a tram and motor-car on the South Road on Thursday was reported / from the New Plymouth hospital last k night The driver of the car, Mrs. Matthews, Bell Street, off Avenue Road, is suffering from shock and abrasions. He was with his father,’Mr. Frank Slade, when their car colhded A with another near the Waikato River bridge on the road between Taupo and Hamilton. The second occasion was when their car went over a bank near
Mahoenui. The boy is said to be very plucky and it is. believed this attribute will help him to recover from the injuries from which he is now suffering.
