Lady Burdett and Miss C. Burdett, who have been the guests of Mrs. J. R. M. Stewart, leave to-day for Wanganui. Mrs. C. A. Belcher was hostess at tea on Wednesday afternoon. Those present were Mesdames W. Wilson, C. J. Belcher, Craig, Shruby, Langston, H. P. Best, Brown, Misses H. Wilson and E. Belcher.
Mrs. D. H. Saunders was hostess at tennis on Friday afternoon.' Mrs. H. L. Glover (Mangatoki) was hostess to some friends on Friday afternoon. Those present included Mesdames J, Gray, J. Hessell, B. (Kaponga), A. Coleman (Stratford), E. HU, P. Harrison and A. Stewart, Misses. <L Coleman (Stratford), J. Hill and G. Brown (Eltham). .
Mrs. J. W. Porter, who has been staying with her daughter, Mrs. Harold Clarke, Hunter Road, has returned to her home at Hamilton.
