Mrs. G. H. Stephenson, who has been the guest of Miss N. Kelly, has returned to New Plymouth.
Sister Harris, who has been spending a holiday at Wellington, has returned. Mrs. R. M. Stevens has returned from a holiday trip to North Auckland district.
Miss Tui Gibson has returned from a holiday at Waikanae and Wellington.
Miss G. E. Taylor is holidaying in the Nelson district, where she is the guest of Mrs. Harley.
Miss Ensor, who has been the guest of Mrs. Walton at the Vicarage, left Patea on Wednesday.
Miss M. Gibbs has returned from a holiday spent north of Auckland. Miss E. McCarty has returned from a visit to Wanganui. Mrs. Fox and her daughter Janet are the guests of Mrs. Power. Mrs. Power will accompany them on their return to Hastings.
Miss M. Davidson has returned from Upper Hutt, where she has been the guest of Mrs. H. A. Findlay. Mrs. Bremer and Miss Bremer, Auckland, are the guests of Mrs. G. Bremer, Whenuakura.
Miss Ruth Fawcett, secretary of the British and Foreign Bible Society, has returned to Hawera, she is the guest of Mrs. Young, Cameron Street.
Mrs. A. Semple has returned to Shannon.
Nurse Kettles has returned to Patea after six months’ training at the New Plymouth hospital. Miss Marian Hamerton has left for Wellington, where she will spend a short holiday.
Miss N. Kelly, matron of the Patea hospital, was hostess at a bridge evening during the week. Among those present were Mesdames C. R. Honeyfield, W. T. Simmons, L. Honeyfield, C. Honeyfield senr., R. W. Haddow, T. E. Roberts and W. Paterson, Misses Gibb and Barber.
