HOME NURSING CLASSES
NEW PLYMOUTH ARRANGEMENTS. The first course of New Plymouth home nursing classes for this year will commence in the Red Cross rooms on Monday under the auspices of the Red Cross Society and St. John Ambulance Association. To those desirous of gaining some knowledge of the rudiments of nursing—and what woman does not require this knowledge sooner or later?— these classes, which are conducted by Sister Corkill, Red Cross nurse, are full of practical help and interest. Instruction is given in such subjects as diet in sickness, bed-bathing and bed-making, simple treatment of wounds and inflammation, and bandaging, and as ample opportunity is given for practical work there is no doubt that a large number I will attend the forthcoming course.
