' With the purpose of tendering for the aerial service between Australia and Singapore, Australian Empire Airways Limited has been registered in Sydney with a capital of £200,000. The company intends to establish an aerial transport company and act as agent for Imperial Airways. The first directors are Sir Eric Geddes, Messrs. G. E. Woods Humphrey, T. R. Bavin, F. J. Smith and A. E. Rudder . According to a London cable Imperial Airways stated that the object of the aerial transport company was to facilitate . Anglo-Australian aerial co-opera-tion by the establishment of an AngloAustralian air route.
