FAILURE OF MURDER CHARGE.
SHOOTING AT LONGBEACH.

William “Curley” Guy, a young Welsh adventurer, was acquitted by a jury on Thursday night on a charge that he murdered Captain Walter Wanderwell, travel promoter, aboard the vagabond cruise yacht Carina. Almost on the eve of a world cruise on December 5 last Wanderwell was found shot dead in his cabin.
