HOPE IN HIGH EXCHANGE
GOVERNMENT CONGRATULATED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, February 16. The Gisborne sheepowners’ executive congratulated the Government on raising the exchange rate, which .was expected to restore in some measure the balance between the producing and nonproducing sections and react favourably on the unemployed position, proving beneficial to the Dominion generally.
