“LEARN-TO-SWIM WEEK”

INSTRUCTORS APPOINTED. As Central and Fitzroy have held “leam-to-swim” classes this week independently of the Swimming Centre’s drive, the organisatipn of classes and the appointment of instructors has, been made easier. The work.will commence on Monday and classes will be held every day until Saturday at the municipal baths, Fitzroy pool, Lower Mangorei School, Huatoki pool and the New Plymouth Boys’ High School. The New Plymouth Borough Council has granted free admission to the baths to all school children and instructors attending the leam-to-swim classes.

Any instructor unable to fulfill the engagement on the time-table is asked to ring telephone No. 1470 between noon and 1 p.m. if another instructor cannot be secured. Instructors requiring transport may apply to Mr. P. J. Flannagan.
