SPORTS AND PASTIMES CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent) A meeting of the management committee of the Tariki Sports and Pastimes Club was held on Friday, Mr. W. J. Byrne presiding. Those present were Messrs. H. McCullum, M. J. Cassidy, W. Young, H. Glen, E. Christenson, W. Crowe, R. and T. Rumball, L. Lister and the secretary. It was decided to arrange for an exhibition of boxing and wrestling in the Tariki hall on March 1. Mr. J. Fryday, Waipuku (who had been approached regarding acting as instructor for wrestling), attended and after being welcomed by the chairman stated he would be pleased to do what he could to assist the c)ub. A vote of thanks was accorded Mr. Fryday. The tennis match arranged for at the week-end against Rawhiti at New Plymouth had to be postponed owing to the inclement weather. Mrs. H. McCullum, Surrey Road, is indisposed.
