ALLEGED REMOVAL OF PEGS. The Waitara Harbour Board’s meeting on Friday night was attended by Messrs. J. Hine (chairman), E. Jones, J. Vickery, E. A. Dugdale, H.. Spurdie and W. R. The board had in the past had considerable trouble with the unlawful removal of survey pegs, said Mr. Dugdale, and he would like to see the board replace its main pegs with concrete ones that could not be easily removad. It was decided to inquire from the authorities if this could be done.
