FARMER ATTACKED BY BULL
SERIOUS INJURIES SUSTAINED. WIFE EFFECTS PLUCKY RESCUE. By Telegraph.—Presi Asioeiation. Gisborne, Last Night. Mr. J. Turner, a settler at Makuri, was attacked by a Jersey bull and carried some distance on its horns. He was thrown against a fence and sustained ripped arms, badly bruised legs and an injury to his spine. His wife pluckily beat off the bull and rescued him from further injury. z -
