NORMANBY ITEMS.
Miss I. • Preston has returned from a ■visit- to her aunt, Mrs. Davis, Auroa. .1 Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Jackson are on a motor .tour of the North Island. Mrs. T. Lloyd is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. D. Green, Okaiawa. Mrs. Reed is at present on a holiday visit at Wellington.
Miss Madge Fletcher, Dunedin, is the guest of Mrs. A. Galloway. Misses K. Syms and P. Gannaway have returned for the school term. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Preston are at present spending a holiday at Lake Taupo.
Mrs. W. G. Gane and Miss Pearle Gane were visitors to New Plymouth for a few days last week.
Miss Riddle, Sydney, who has been spending some months with relatives at Normanby, has gone to Stratford. Misses F. and R. Fletcher, New Plymouth, are the guests of Mrs. W. G. Gane.
Mrs. Warren, Waipukurau,. who has been staying with her sister-in-law, Mrs. T. Taylor, returned home on Friday. Mrs. H. Smith is visiting Nelson, where she is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gaffey.
Mrs. C. Young, who is a patient in the hospital, is reported to be making favourable progress.
Mrs. D. Walker and Miss Mollie Walker, who were the guests of Mrs. F. Riddle during the past week, have returned to Waverley.
