Judgment in connection with an appeal by the K Motor Service, Limited, against the granting of a license to Newby’s Motors, Limited, operating between Hamilton and Rotorua, has been given by the Transport Appeal Board. “From the figures submitted, it does not appear there is room for an extra service,” the judgment said. “We have pretty complete figures no wand it certainly seems that two cars ought to be able to carry the passengers offering. At the Okau sale to be held on January 27, the best drafts of lambs to be seen anywhere in Taranaki will be submitted for sale. The lambs are as dropped and are in excellent condition and well-grown.
