De Valera) has declared his policy on the issue of separation says the Times Dublic correspondent. Speaking at Cahir, he announced he was determined to ask for Ireland’s complete independence politically and economical-
ly. ■ Mr. Frank Aiken, Minister . of Defence, was even more explicit “Ireland will be an independent republic when you come again,” he is reported to have told the Dublin correspondent of the Paris Petit Journal.’ He added, “That is the will of the Irish people, which will be expressed at the election, oft January 24.”
