RELIEF SYSTEM OVERHAUL
ABSORPTION IN WORK THE AIM. . MINISTER AND BOARD ACTING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, .Jan. 19. The Minister ,of Employment, Mr. J. G. Coates, announced to-day that .he is at present, with members of the Unemployment Board, engaged on a complete overhaul of the system of unemployment relief, as a result of which it was hoped to formulate a scheme which would enable the unemployed to be absorbed into .useful employment.
