The Hauturu is due at New Plymouth to-day from Onehunga with 130 tons and will sail in the afternoon for Wanganui before returning north. (Northern Co.). / , t ■ The Kini loaded 400 tons of coal at Westport on Wednesday and is due at New Plymouth to-day. She will be dispatched for Lyttelton, Oamaru and Dunedin and will load at Dunedin- about January 25 for New Plymouth, via usual southern ports. She is due at New Plymouth about January 31 and will leave for Westport and Greymouth. (U.S.S. Co.). The Kaimai will load at Greymouth to-day for New Plymouth, via . Westport, being due on Monday with 200 tons of coal, and will proceed to Napier and Gisborne. (U.S.S. Co.). The Holmglen loaded at Dunedin on Wednesday, Timaru and possibly Oamaru and is scheduled to visit Lyttelton to-day, Wellington to-morrow, Picton on Monday and Wanganui on Tuesday, arriving at New Plymouth on Wednesday and sailing for Waikato the same day. (Hooker Bros). The Kaitoa arrived at New Plymouth from Tarakohe with 50 tons of cement. The vessel left during the 'day for Qnehunga. (Cock and Co.). The Opihi loaded at Oamaru on Monday, Timaru Tuesday, Lyttelton on Wednesday and Wellington yesterday for New Plymouth, via usual ports. She is due to-morrow and will return to Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.). The Mahurangi arrived at New Plymouth from Wellington on Wednesday and will sail for Waitara and Mokau when tidal conditions at Waitara are suitable. (Mokau Collieries, Ltd.). OVERSEAS SHIPS’ MOVEMENTS. t SAILING OF THE PAKEHA. The Pakeha, which arrived at New Plymouth from Bluff on Monday, completed loading 17,700 freight carcases of meat, 7509 boxes of butter and 8160 crates of cheese and sailed for Gisborne last night. The vessel discharged 700 tons of London general cargo. She will complete at Gisborne, Wellington and Wanganui, clearing Wellington on January 30 for London, via the Panama Canal. SURREY A WEEK EARLIER. The steamer Surrey is due at New Plymouth from Bluff on Monday, a week earlier than originally scheduled. The vessel will load 8250 freight carcases of meat, 500 crates of cheese and 3000 boxes of butter and will complete at Lyttelton, Wanganui, Wellington and Auckland, sailing from Auckland on February 4 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Montevideo and Dakar. TANKER ELISE FOR NEW PLYMOUTH The Shell Oil Company has received cabled advice that the motor-tanker Elise left Singapore on January 14 with bulk motor-spirit for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton and New Plymouth. She is due on February 2. The Elise, which has a gross tonnage of 7910, was built in 1931 by Armstrong, Whitworth and Co., NewCaStle-on-Tyne. KIA ORA FROM LIVERPOOL. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Kia Ora is to leave Liverpool on February 11 with cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain, for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on March 22; THE RANGITANE. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-lifter Rangitane is scheduled to leave London on February 9 with passengers and mail for New Zealand and cargo for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on March 16. THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. The Canadian Scottish is scheduled to leave Halifax to-day for Auckland, Wellington, .Lyttelton and Dunedin.
