CANADIAN CONFESSES CRIME. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Toronto, Dec. 20. A coroner’s jury at Owen Sound (Ontario) found Melville Wilkey, aged 23, guilty of settling fire to his home and burning his wife and child to death to obtain 1000 dollars life insurance.
Wilkey confessed to the police while awaiting trial.
