VAT OF FAT EXPLODES
SOAP WORKS WORKER KILLED. HOLE BLOWN IN THE ROOF. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 9.40 p.m. Sydney, Dec. 20. A huge vat of boiling fat exploded at a soap works at Mascot to-day. An employee, Huntley Quinn, aged 38, was killed, his body being terribly burned and his clothes torn to shreds. A. huge hole was made in the roof and fat was distributed in all directions.
