SALESMAN ALLEGED THIEF
CHARGES MAY INVOLVE £l5OO. . By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Dec. 20. Theft charges in which the total stun will be about £l5OO may be preferred against Charles Edgar McPeak, a salesman, aged 43, according to a statement by the chief detective in the Magistrate’s Court this morning. McPeak appeared before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., charged with stealing on or about January 22, 1932, £lOO, the property of Harry Rothney Orr, of Christchurch. He was remanded to January 3.
