LOWEST FOR THIRTY YEARS
NEW ZEALAND BUTTER PRICE. • CHEESE LOWEST THIS SEASON. The price for butter on the London market has fallen as low as 82s a cwt., according to cables received at New Plymouth yesterday. This price is the lowest that has been recorded since 1902. Cheese prices have fallen to a new low level for this • season, both white and coloured bringing only 55s a cwt The butter market was reported to be quiet and the cheese market dull.
