BERTRAM’S JtIGHT TO ENGLAND. SOON DISAPPEARS IN CLOUDS. By Telegraph—-Press Asm.—Copyright. , Darwin, Dec. .12. Captain Hans Bertram left at 5.45' o’clock this morning .on his flight to England. Visibility was bad, owing to heavy clouds and light rain. The airman made a good getaway. He travelled almost the entire length of the aerodrome before rising and he was quickly lost in the dark clouds. He was then visible only occasionally by lightning flashes. Tire wind was .favourable for the flight. A message from Bima states that Bertram arrived there and left for Sournbaya, where he was expected in the afternoon. , • ’ CAPE TOWN TO LONDON FLIGHT. MRS. A; Moilison, flying from Cape Town to London, arrived at at 3.45 p.m. yesterday, some hours inside her schedule time, and .left for Dual® at nine o’clock last night. She encountered fog during the night and landed at Benguilla. She was delayed for three hours, resuming her flight at dawn.
